This breed is known as the Australian Labradoodle.  In the late 1980's, a man named Wally Conran experimented with the mixture of Retrievers and Poodles resulting in an asthma/allergy friendly, highly intelligent new breed!  After some time, the owners of Tegan Park and Rutland Manor, based in Australia, perfected the bloodlines.  With low/non shedding fur, the outcome is a seemingly odorless dog.  They have an even temperament which allows them to be an excellent candidate as a service dog.  This characteristic is what also makes them a fantastic dog choice for a family.
